Mailman Mailing Lists

This web server is for managing Mailman mailing lists at the University of Portsmouth. Please note this server is currently non-operational; the transition to operational status will happen at an appropriate time.

Mailman mailing lists are a means of communicating via email with a group of people such that every member of the group can use the mailing list. In addition there are a number of optional features including :-

• Public or private archives of mail sent to the list.
• Controllable blocking of non-member emails.
• Messages can be 'moderated' so that a moderator has to give approval for a message to be sent.

Plus many other features.

If you require a Mailman list, you will need to contact the IS Service Desk to arrange for one ... this web server will not let you create one.
